The N-Dubz singer and former X Factor judge, who published her autobiography Honest: My Story So Far last year, is turning her hands to fiction as she tells the story of Sky Beradino, a south London schoolgirl who is destined for success.
The synopsis reads: "Sky Beradino dreams of coming out on top - just for once - and vows that no one will keep her down forever. In 2013, a talented young actress takes a deep breath before stepping out on stage.
"Glamorous, confident and beautiful, only the very closest to her know the price she has paid. Gripping, passionate, powerful and raw, this is a novel of heartbreak and tragedy, hard work and hard knocks, courage and survival.
"It is the story of a young woman destined for stardom, who never gave up. No matter what. Tulisa's debut novel is impossible to put down. And impossible to forget."
Tulisa, 25, rose to fame through band N-Dubz before releasing her own solo material and later landing a role as a judge on The X Factor.
Last month (4 June) she was embroiled in drug allegations where she was bailed following an arrest on suspicion of allegedly supplying Class A drugs.
Sky, which is to be published by Headline, is expected to be released 26 September.
