Our hopes of a Friends reunion might well and truly have been dashed, as actress Lisa Kudrow has admitted that she feels "too old" to return to the show now.

Earlier this year, it was rumoured that the hugely successful sitcom was planning on filming a reunion series with all of the original characters. However, Jennifer Aniston (who played Rachel Green) has since denied these claims and it seems Lisa isn't keen on reprising her role as Phoebe Buffay either.

When asked about the possibility of the cast filming any more episodes, Lisa told HuffPost Live: "I'm too old. I wouldn't even have an interest in seeing what those people are doing 10 years later as parents that have to be responsible... It would be so different that it wouldn't be Friends anymore."

Nevertheless, the 49-year-old star did say that if her cast mates were all eager to return to the sitcom, she would consider it.

''Of course I would do it if everyone wanted to do it," she added. "And everyone isn't the six of us — it's David Crane and Marta Kauffman who created the show.''

Matt LeBlanc (who played Joey Tribbiani) also quashed rumours earlier this year of there being a Friends film in the pipeline.

Although we know that seeing the six famous characters (including Ross and Monica Geller and Chandler Bing) back on our TV screens would be a little odd now, given that each of the actors have moved on with other projects, we would still love to see them together again one last time.

But it sounds like we might have to let this dream of a reunion go. Boo!
