The actor, who plays Mitchell in the hit comedy, tied the knot with his lawyer partner in New York City on Saturday, 20 July.
A rep for Jesse confirmed the marriage to People and he later alluded to it via Twitter, writing: "Never been happier. XO Goodnight!"
Modern Family co-stars including Julie Bowen (Claire) and Sofia Vergara (Gloria) were among those who sent congratulations via Twitter.
Julie wrote: "It's official. @jessetyler and @JustinMikita are Mr and Mr! #bestweddingever."
Sofia, meanwhile, couldn't make the wedding because she was abroad, but she did tweet: "Thinking of you! Wishing you the best in this beautifull adventure!@jessetyler @justinmikita."
So You Think You Can Dance judge Nigel Lythgoe was also in attendance, and tweeted: "I think the service at Justin and Jesse's wedding was so beautifully honest. It was so emotional that when we weren't laughing we were crying."
Tony Kushner, who wrote the screenplay for the Oscar-winning Lincoln, officiated the ceremony.
