Kim Kardashian has spoken for the first time since giving birth to daughter North West and admitted she is having "the most exciting experiences" of her life.

Kim, 32, has kept a low profile since the arrival of baby North last month but she has now emerged and thanked her fans for their kind wishes.

The new mum, who is in a relationship with rapper Kanye West, also said she is "fully embracing motherhood" alongside her famous family.

In a message posted on her official website, Kim said: "Hey guys, these past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life.

"I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family."
