Mark Wright will be back on our screens later this year fronting a new reality show called Wright Off the Beaten Track.

The former TOWIE star will present the six-part ITV2 series which will see him organising extravagant parties all around the world for different groups and communities.

Each hour-long episode will see Mark, 26, challenged to take on unique and wild parties around the globe, such as US frat events and Harlem block gatherings. He'll have one week to familiarise himself with the group's different way of life, before throwing them a special event.

Mark, who is dating Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, said: "I know the Essex party scene inside out but I've no idea what to expect about the people I'll be meeting or the parties I'll be throwing.

"Not since leaving the jungle have I been put in a situation that feels completely out of my comfort zone, but I'm determined to take on whatever challenge comes my way."

Aside from being one of the original cast members of TOWIE and coming runner-up on 2011's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, Mark has been a regular face on our TV screens. Last year he fronted his own reality show, Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights, and he also currently co-hosts Take Me Out: The Gossip with Zoe Hardman.

Kate Maddigan, Commissioning Editor for ITV, added: "This really is Mark Wright as never seen before. In completely different social and cultural surroundings, I can't wait to see whether he can hold his nerve, keep his cool and put on a party that has the Mark magic touch."

Off-screen, Mark presents his own weekend radio slot on Heart FM, and recently joined forces with Littlewoods to be the ambassador for their new Goodsouls range.
