Made In Chelsea's Louise Thompson sported some impressive headgear over the weekend by wearing an elaborate hat for a day at Ascot.

The reality TV star showcased her fabulous hat - designed by Mimi Theobald - on Twitter this week, after testing its reception at the Royal Ascot on Saturday (22 June).

Louise posted a couple of snaps of her in the elaborate creation, which featured dozens of black feathers on the base and a cluster of white flowers on one side that almost resembled lilies.

She went all out for her day at the races with her pals and appeared to have teamed her hat with with a lace dress and sultry make-up.

Along with her snaps, Louise tweeted: "Adored my @mimitheobald hat at ascot. Her millinery is beautiful.

The petite brunette is no doubt enjoying a break from filming for Made In Chelsea now, as the cast have wrapped up another series and have been jetting off on their holidays.

Louise relaxed in Bologna, Northern Italy last week during a mini getaway with some friends, while her boyfriend and co-star Andy Jordan flew to Spain for some fun in the sun.

In the final episode of Made In Chelsea, Louise was discovered to have spent the night at a male friend's house, causing Andy to call her fidelity into question.

However, the couple soon patched things up, as Andy admitted that he wanted to still give their relationship a chance.

While Louise and Andy indulged in some serious relaxation on their respective holidays, their cast mates also flew to various locations across the world to top up their tan.

Spencer Matthews accompanied Oliver Proudlock to Australia and staying a little closer to home, Lucy Watson visited Turkey for a few days.

They're such a bunch of jet setters!
