Adele awarded an MBE at Queen's Birthday Honours for services to music

Adele has added yet another award to her collection after receiving an MBE by the Queen.

The singer, 25, was today (June 15) named in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for her services to music.

Earlier this year, Adele won a prestigious Oscar for her James Bond theme tune 'Skyfall'. She has previously won four Brit Awards, two Ivor Novellos and NINE Grammys.

And now she's going to have to clear another space on her heaving mantelpiece!

Adele, who gave birth to son Angelo in October, is now said to be worth £30million.
