The Duchess of Cambridge attended the christening ceremony of the appropriately named Royal Princess, the latest liner in the Princess Cruises fleet.
Kate, 31, has been named the godmother of the new ship, following in the footsteps of famous faces like Lady Margaret Thatcher and Audrey Hepburn, who have also received the honour.
Kate looked beautiful in a Dalmatian print coat from Hobbs. Be quick though! As with all Kate's clothes, we reckon this £169 piece will be a sell out in no time!
The mum-to-be attended today's engagement without husband Prince William. It will be her final solo engagement before the birth of the couple's first child in July.
She was given a tour of the 3,600-capacity liner during the ceremony, which involved the traditional smashing of a bottle on the side of the vessel.
Princess Cruises' president and chief exec Alan Buckelew said: "We are delighted that the Duchess will launch our new ship and can think of no better way to celebrate our company's British heritage and our commitment to the country."
Natasha Bedingfield was another special guest at today's naming ceremony. The 'Unwritten' singer was on hand for a performance this morning.
"We're excited to have Natasha Bedingfield lend her voice to this special occasion," said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises' exec vice president. "Her music will add a wonderful contemporary touch to the time-honoured elements of the traditional naming ceremony."
The Royal Princess will depart on her maiden voyage on 16 June.
