We all know that Paris is dubbed the city of love and has the perfect backdrop for a romantic date, so we assume Mark would love to have taken Michelle with him.

But he had a good excuse for travelling solo because his trip to the tourist hotspot was purely for work purposes (and we're betting Michelle was hard at work on the Corrie set, too).
The 26-year-old was busy filming for ITV2 show Take Me Out: The Gossip which he co-hosts alongside Zoe Hardman.
Mark, who set off on the escapade this morning, said: "On the way to Paris, filming with the blackout boys for take me out the gossip!! Can they find love in the city of love I wonder!!"

But of course, if you go to Paris you have to pose in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower, and Mark made sure he did that just that after he finished up filming.
He tweeted with the photo: "Paris for the day!! Why not!!"
We reckon Mark might be secretly plotting to take Michelle there sometime soon though. He recently gushed that he was "very happy" to be dating her and also hinted that he may be head over heels in love.
His relationship with the Coronation Street actress became public knowledge when they were spotted kissing in Dubai while on holiday earlier this month, and since their return to the UK, they have enjoyed a string of public outings.
