The Only Way Is Essex's Kirk Norcross is set to lift the lid on a childhood blighted by poverty and panic attacks in his very own autobiography.

Despite being portrayed as a 'rich kid', the star will reveal how he grew up with his mother moving between council houses and hostels on tough estates, and how he suffered from panic attacks and self-doubt.

In the book, to be called Essex Boy: My Story by Kirk Norcross, Kirk will tell how he built bridges with his father Mick - who was by then a millionaire - when he was aged 16.

His life subsequently changed, but Kirk will explain how the new world he found himself living in also had challenges of its own.

Kirk says: "A lot of people think they know my story. Now once and for all I am telling what really went on."

Kirk will also talk about his rise to fame on TOWIE, his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house and his relationships and love life.

Sounds like it will be a good read!
