Kim, 32, and rapper Kanye, 35, confirmed their pregnancy news on New Year's Eve – after Kanye announced it during a concert in Atlantic City.
And, after watching Kim get married, have break-ups and make-ups, and even getting her butt X-rayed on our screens, perhaps it wouldn't be a surprise if her pregnancy was documented on family show Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its spinoffs.
In a statement to US trade magazine Hollywood Reporter, Suzanne Kolb, the president of E!, which airs the Kardashian shows, said: "Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger.
"We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottles and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear."
That definitely sounds like Kimye Jr. could be featuring in coming episodes!
However, a conflicting report on TMZ quotes sources which claim Kim and Kanye will not allow their child to appear on TV in order to ensure maximum privacy, although she will be open about the actual pregnancy months.
Their insider also says there won't be a birth special like Kim's wedding special when she married basketballer Kris Humphries.
Hmm... guess we'll have to wait and see.
But if Kim does choose to share the birth and her child's early years on camera, she'll be following in the footsteps of her elder sister Kourtney, who is mum to son Mason and daughter Penelope.
Kourtney actually allowed the Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras into the delivery room for the births; we wonder if Kim will end up doing the same?
And what about the coveted first shots of the baby? A source told the New York Post that Kanye is likely to want to just post pictures of the new arrival on his own social networking accounts, like Beyoncé and Jay-Z did with their daughter Blue Ivy, rather than selling the pictures.
