The US TV series was a massive hit throughout the 90s and followed Cory Matthews as he went from young boy to grown man, eventually marrying his childhood sweetheart Topanga Lawrence.
Ben and Danielle have both been cast in their original roles - and their characters will now be parents to a teenager daughter called Riley. The show will be called Girl Meets World and will mainly follow Riley's life.
Where has the time gone?!
Confirming the news, Ben, 32, tweeted: "I'm going to be a father! Well, on TV at least. The Boy Meets World sequel is officially happening!"
Danielle, 33, took to her official blog to write about the new series, but she's unsure if any other members of the original cast will return.
"I do not know how many BMW cast members will be returning for GMW," she wrote.
"I have known Michael Jacobs, Ben Savage, Rider Strong, Will Friedle, and Bill Daniels for 19 years, I know we share many of the same feelings regarding the seven wonderful years we spent making BMW."
Danielle added: "Those years were among the most warm, hilarious, insightful, educational years of my life and I wouldn't trade them for the world."
A Disney spokesperson confirmed to EW.com: "[They will reprise their roles] this time as a happily married couple and parents to 13-year-old Riley."
This has cheered us up no end following yesterday's shocking news that Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell from Kenan & Kel are apparently not speaking!
