In a huge career high, she came second on Strictly Come Dancing last year – despite, by her own admission, being one of the least-famous celebs of the series.
Then this year, she filmed her final scenes on Waterloo Road, where's she's played Janeece for six years.
And on top that, she split from her boyfriend, footballer Oliver Norburn, the man she calls "the love of my life".
Here, we catch up with the 24-year-old actress and ask her about love, life and why she won't be watching this year's Strictly Come Dancing…

Chelsee, you split from Oliver in June – are you looking for a new man now?
I could get together with someone else, but I'd have to meet them first. Although, to be honest, I still love Ollie. But I don't know what's going to happen there.
What do you look for in a man?
They've got to be funny and good looking. I just like who I like. I don't have a type. And they need to dress smart and have a good style too.
Speaking of style, how would you describe yours?
It's my own. My style is just what clothes I like. A bit funky and fun.
What's your favourite piece of clothing?
I've got too many. I love my Louboutin and my YSL shoes. And on the high street I love Zara.
Is it true that you want to have your boobs reduced?
Yes! They are too big for my little frame. I'm 5ft 1 and a half – don't forget about the half! I'm a size six. I'd like to go back to a C – that's what I was before I had my boob job to take them up to a DD.

What would you give yourself out of 10 for looks?
About 5. I would never say 10 – I definitely am nowhere near that!
Are you happy with life at the moment?
I could be happier, but I'm feeling a lot more content at the moment.
How did it feel leaving Waterloo Road?
It was really sad filming my final scenes, but to be honest, I think I left the emotions when the set moved from Rochdale to Glasgow. I was only in Glasgow for two months, but it was sad to say goodbye to everyone. It was also emotional leaving Janeece because I've played her for so long.
You're taking part in the Vagina Monologues – how are you feeling about doing theatre?
I'm really nervous about it. I've not done theatre before, and there's a lot to take in from the script, so I'm trying to get my head around it. I just wanted something different. I've wanted to do theatre for a while and I think it'll be an amazing experience.
What would be your dream job?
I'd live to go to America and do films and sitcoms or, like, a really gritty British film. Or a deep drama. I can do an American accent. I do one in Vagina Monologues actually!
What do you like watching on TV?
Dramas. I love The Accused and anything that's deep because I'm a bit of a deep girl.

You look fab - how do you stay in shape?
I don't look good! I go to the gym. I've also been eating quite healthily and I've been living on smoothies. I've not always been healthy. I'm more so now that I'm getting older. I never used to be when I was younger.
Do you exercise a lot?
I'm not big on it, but I know it's got to be done [laughs]. I'm doing a triathalon, so I've been training for that. I don't know what made me take it on!

I don't think I've got one, but if I had to choose it would probably be my bum. And my thighs. I love big thighs. But I hate how small my legs are – they just make me look stumpy [they definitely don't!].
How are you feeling about this year's Strictly Come Dancing, now you're no longer a part of it?
I'm devastated. I'm not sure if I will watch it. I've said I won't be able to, but when it comes on, I can't not. I'm absolutely devastated. I'm in touch with Holly, Robbie, Russell, Harry, everyone really.
Have you kept up the dancing?
No. I think if I had something to work towards I definitely would, but nothing's come up which is a bit gutting. I'm devastated. And keeping it up isn't the same if I'm not doing it with my dance partner Pasha. I never dreamt that I would get that far. I didn't expect to do well at all. Everyone, including me, thought I was going to be out first!
