Speaking to Billboard the group said: "We were so afraid. We didn't want to leave England. Nowadays, luckily, people are a lot more open to their favourite acts going to America. It used to be a little bit like, 'They're leaving us! They're going to the US and they're never coming back!' People seem a little more accepting of that now."
Since arriving in the US, the girls have been working hard to self-promote, performing at a glam Perez Hilton party, as well as appearing on American daytime TV and attending both the MTV Video Music Awards and New York Fashion Week.
The group, who've been together four years now, haven't been short of hits - with 11 top 10 singles. But the girls - Frankie Sanford, Mollie King, Rochelle Humes, Vanessa White and Una Healy - will release their first Stateside single in early 2013, and are already said to be working with infamous producer, Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins.
