Speaking at her book launch, the Essex matriarch told us: "I think [her departure] might do her good because then she might learn different things somewhere else and might get herself a nice little boyfriend or something. Who knows?"

Nanny Pat went on to chat about Lauren's relationship with her 25-year-old nightclub promoter grandson: "Oh she always has loved him. She's had her time, her and Mark. They got courting so early, they were only fifteen. I think Mark is quite happy."
And Mark's mum Carol Wright also believes that it's better for the former couple to go their separate ways.

Carol revealed that although Lauren may have been the love of her son's life, they are better off apart. She told us: "I think Lauren will love Mark till the day she dies. I think he's the love of her life and I do believe, deep down in my son's heart, it was his love of his life. But I do know that they no way are good for each other and for their own safety and their own sakes, it would be best to be with different partners."
"They'll always probably care for each other and I believe that they will become friends," she added. "Eventually I hope to see them as friends because I believe why have enemies, it's not worth it."
Friends? Mark and Lauren? Somehow we think it might be a while before that happens.
