Tom tweeted: "Huge crowds @tweetbluewater Thanks soo much for supporting my book!"
Eager diving fans began queuing at 1am for the chance to see their Olympic icon, according to ITV News, and the interest level was so high that even those who had queued for four hours couldn't guarantee a slot to meet Tom.
He tweeted: "Awesome book signing today at @TweetBluewater :) sorry I couldn't see you all but I had to leave, but I will be in Bristol tomorrow."

Tom, who was joined by his mother at the signing, captured the hearts of the nation during his London 2012 Olympic Games campaign which saw him finishing in fourth place in the synchronised diving and then grabbing the bronze medal in the men's 10-metre individual diving final.
And it's not just his Olympic success that he's celebrating! The teenager posted his exam results slip online today, revealing that he had achieved an A in his Spanish A-Level to add to the A* he already achieved in photography and A for his AS maths. Congratulations!

Not only that, but he's also been voted as one of the top celebrity smiles in the UK thanks to his pearly white teeth!
No doubt Tom will be asked all about his Olympic success and newfound level of fame during his appearance on this weekend's Jonathan Ross Show, where he'll share the sofa with fellow Olympians Jessica Ennis and Usain Bolt.
Looks like he'll have to add another chapter to that autobiography soon!
