'Everybody Get Up' singer Sean welcomed his first child, a baby daughter, with his wife in January. Sean and his wife - who prefers not to be named - like to lead a private life, but the singer couldn't contain his joy as he spoke about his new family.
"It's definitely mellowed me," Sean tells Reveal. "I've gone softer I think, especially having a daughter. It's the best thing ever. It's given me distance too. When I was a kid in the band, everything was just all about the band, whereas now, it's just three-minute pop songs isn't it?! It's all just a bit of fun."
Sean, 32, who is preparing for the upcoming 'Big Reunion Boy Band Tour', says being away from his family will be the worst part.
"I'm not looking forward to that side of it," he continues. "My wife doesn't drive and I don't think they'll let her on the tour bus so I've got to work something out.
"It's not the same thing using FaceTime and Skype because babies change so fast and I don't want to miss things."
Sean also says that he wouldn't want his daughter to follow his footsteps into the limelight. "I wouldn't like my daughter to go in the music industry," he says. "I don't think it's a nice place. If you're famous, you can get loads of abuse, especially with social networks these days, and artists can get exploited too. I wouldn't want that happening to my daughter."
Speaking of bandmate Ritchie Neville, who is expecting his first child with Atomic Kitten girlfriend Natasha Hamilton, Sean said: "I think it's a beautfiul thing. I think it's just what he needs at the right time of his life and I wish him all the best.
"Certainly with my experience of having a baby, I think it will be the best thing that happens to him."
