Curvy Miriam and Michelle Carolus aren't exactly your average twins. While some siblings may look and act alike, the pair's similarities go even further.
Everything about them is identical – from the calories they consume to the 2,000 squats they do every day to keep their 4ft bums toned and pert.
The aspiring models, from Miami, Florida, have cashed in on their dazzling derrières to make a name for themselves online and now have more than 300,000 Instagram followers.
And the 28-year-olds deny their success is due to surgery, saying it's the result of a dedicated regime that sees them mirroring each other's lifestyle to pedantic detail.
"We make sure we eat the same, exercise the same – everything the same," says Michelle, who even phones her sister to compare calories when they're apart.
"We try to do a couple of thousand squats a day to keep in shape. It won't be all at the same time. It will usually be stretched over something like nine hours."
Even from an early age, the girls had a stronger relationship than most twins.
"Our mother thought we were too close as children, so she put us in separate classes," Michelle says. "I cried when she did that."
Fortunately, they were reunited at college and went on to study to become medical technicians. Now, the sisters both work for the same plastic surgeon.
While they may have boosted their busts from B-cups to D-cups with matching £3,500 implants, the twins don't plan on going under the knife again.
"We would never consider surgery on our butts – our workout plan pretty much takes care of that," says Miriam.
"And when you do it naturally through hard work it makes you feel a lot better about yourself."
To maintain their identical measurements, they have enlisted the help of fitness guru Bahiem King who has created a tailored regime for them both to follow. The twins work out with him for about an hour each day.
A combination of boxing, plyometrics, soft-touch CrossFit, weight training and a lot of squats gives them their look – which they describe as "part Beyoncé, part Serena Williams".
They will perform hundreds of squats in their main workout of the day. Then they'll stop and squat up to a 100 times each hour over eight to nine hours – building up to a maximum of 2,000.
Miriam and Michelle also mirror each other's diets down to extreme detail, putting the exact same calories in smoothies, salads and protein shakes.
"We always have to make sure we prepare the same meal," explains Michelle. "Down to the same amount of turkey meat: four slices, with four tomatoes."
Miriam, who like her sister measures 36-22-46, adds, 'We generally stick to a healthy diet and it's the same all the time. We're very strict about this.
"We'll work out the exact same and make sure that if one of us has done more the other will have to catch up."
"It's like a mirror. If I ever want to know if I'm looking good or not I will just look at my sister," Michelle adds.
The striking duo have always received extra attention throughout their lives. But two years ago, in 2014, they decided to break into urban modelling – going by the name "Double Dose Twins".
Michelle, who is 45 minutes older than her sister, says, "It started off with Instagram. We'd never had social media before then. We posted a picture and got a lot of attention from the first shoot we did.
"Since that, we've had a lot of bookings for magazines and offers to travel. Modelling together is a lot of fun."
With more than 300,000 followers on their Instagram account alone, the pair have earned £21,000 between them in the last two years and flown as far as Dubai for work.
They have the same hobbies, and, apart from their tattoos, are identical in every way. They even both live on the same street.
"We're neighbours but still spend every other night at each other's house," Michelle says.
Unsurprisingly, lots of men have shown an interest in the identical twins' physiques. However, they both choose to stay single for now.
"It's not hard for us to get attention from guys but it's hard for them to get attention from us," Miriam says. "When we're out in a club a lot of people notice us and we'll see them doing double takes.
"Some guys even think they can go after us together, which is so lame. We share most things but we'll never share a guy."
But it's not all plain sailing. Potential boyfriends in the past have also been put off by their close bond.
"They get jealous," says Miriam. "But no guy can come between us."
For now they are concentrating on their careers. Their protective family – especially their mother – have reservations, but the twins admit they're ploughing ahead and also looking for acting parts.
"Our ambitions are to build a brand for the future, travel more and get rich," says Michelle.
"So far it's been a lot of fun so we don't want that to stop."
