The driver, who has struck "countless times" over the past few months, seems to take extreme pleasure in going out for fun every time it rains.
For the moment it appears he is sticking to the Kentish Town area of north London, soaking dozens of innocent pedestrians as he drives close to the kerb and runs through the paddles at speed.
It was only when the puddle splasher struck on 15 April and former RI:SE newsreader, Zora Suleman, jotted down the registration number that police were able to check the car.
They've since discovered that it wasn't registered and didn't have insurance so they're now appealing for information.
Local resident, Craig Finley, told The Telegraph: "If I get a hold of him he'll get more than just a drenching."
