He's the most adorable police officer we've ever seen!
Bodie the puppy is a German Shepherd and is being trained in Aberdeen by his handler Steve Warden. He'll be fighting crime in no time!
Police Scotland shared a picture of the gorgeous puppy on Facebook, saying: "We're sure you'll all love waking up to this little cutie-pie - Police Scotland's newest recruit, police puppy Bodie!
"Seven week old Bodie is settling in with his new handler and looking forward to his new life at Police Scotland. Happy weekend everyone!"
The photo has currently been shared 4,500 times.
In answer to Facebook users asking about Bodie's welfare, they posted: "For those of you who have been asking, our Dog Unit staff have many years experience in breeding and developing puppies specifically for police dog work and the puppy's health and welfare is our top priority.
"Like all police forces UK wide, we assess all our puppies at an early age to ensure they have all the qualities required of a working police dog. There are some very well structured breeding programmes throughout the UK that are specifically designed to produce puppies with police work in mind and all our puppies are carefully selected from these.
"Puppies are routinely selected when they are between 7 and 8 weeks old. Experience has shown us that this is the optimum age for the puppy to make a smooth and successful transition on to our puppy development programme. This programme is structured to prepare the puppy for life as an operational Police dog serving the community and keeping people safe."
Now we just want to see him in a police hat!
