A year ago, Katie Cutler had never done so much as a sponsored walk for charity.

But now the 22-year-old has made a name for herself as the young woman who raised £330,000 for disabled pensioner Alan Barnes after he was brutally mugged.

She's gone on to help several others and is in the process of setting up the Katie Cutler Foundation so she can help many, many more.

That's why, this Christmas, Katie Cutler is Reveal's angel. She embodies the spirit of Christmas!

Katie can't help but help others

Last January, the beautician had just lost her salon and her boiler at home had just packed in.

Though she was freezing and feeling down, she didn't hesitate to help Alan when she heard his story.

"It brought tears to my eyes when I read that he was too scared to go home," says Katie.

"I could bounce back from what I was going through but what Alan went through could finish a person off. I wanted to do something practical for him."

Katie's target of £500 came and went and in 21 days she'd raised a fortune for Alan.

She was quickly inundated with thousands of please for her help.

Despite her own business struggles and raising her daughter Grace, now three, Katie couldn't resist helping as many people as possible.

Now she's set to keep on changing lives with her own foundation.

"My aim is to help those who've been turned away elsewhere, the ones who fall through the cracks."

We think Katie is an inspiration to us all!
