For those who feel they are losing all faith in humanity, hold your horses.

Most women have been catcalled, wolf-whistled or made to feel vulnerable and objectified at some point in their life. For many of us, it happens on a daily basis.

There's always the question that runs through your head: Should I say something back or just ignore them?

Well, one woman didn't have to make that decision.

I was on my usual running path when I heard an older man yelling loudly enough for me to hear through my headphones. "...

Julia Price was out running when a business man started shouting at her, calling her a "sexy lady".

When she chose to ignore him and carry on with her jog, he turned and became verbally abusive. He called her a "b***h".

Rather upset and angry, Julia poised herself as she was about to confront him.

But what happened next, warmed her heart.

A little boy named James, who was with his mum and sister, stepped in to bat for her.

She posted the exchange to Facebook after being so moved by his spirit.

When she hugged James and thanked him, he simply shrugged and replied: "I just wanted to make sure your heart was ok."

Huge love for James, what a guy!
