This little girl was born at Hagenbeck Zoo in Hamburg, Germany but hasn't been given a name yet. He was pictured shying away behind his mum while in a paddock on Monday, 13 July.
According to the zoo, the tiny elephant was born around 4am this morning after a gestation period of 688 days, slightly longer than the average elephant gestation period of 630 to 650 days.
The tot and mum Yashoda are both healthy. Hagenbeck Zoo are asking members of the public to submit name suggestions for the baby elephant.
An elephant's gestation period is the longest of an animal and a single calf is born to a female elephant every four to five years on average, according to WWF.
Calves stay with their mums for several years and are also cared for by other female members of the herd.
