Technology boffins have designed the first camera veil to allow brides to capture their special day from a unique angle.

Those looking for an alternative to the traditional wedding video can don the first "wearable technology veils" by royal milliner Rosie Olivia.

The futuristic "Bride's Eye View" collection features an embedded Sony 4K Action Cam, the FDR-X1000V.

Brides-to-be can choose from a crown, complete with tiny crystals and a camera mounted in the centre or a traditional veil with a more understated design and flowing material to help conceal the camera.

Commenting on the exciting project, Rosie says: "Too many of my friends have complained about their lack of wedding videography. I'm getting married soon and wanted to make sure I cover all angles and eventualities. The Bride's Eye View collection will mean the most important vows are captured forever."

Frederik Lange, Head of Digital Imaging at Sony UK and Ireland, said: "It is exciting to see Sony's innovation incorporated into such a design. We look forward to seeing more designs from Rosie Olivia in the future."
