A nurse going on her first holiday abroad for 11 years was charged a whopping £2,200 to check in her luggage in an easyJet blunder.

Jo Bookleff-Browne, 49, who works 60-hour weeks, jetted off on a much-needed break to Crete with friends.

But she was shocked when she got back home to Plymouth and realised instead of being charged €55 to check in one bag, she'd been stung for checking in 55 suitcases.

We're pretty sure even the Kardashians and their entourage don't travel with that much luggage.

If that wasn't bad enough, despite being warned before the money left her account, Jo, from Plymouth, had to wait seven days for the cash to be refunded.

She told the Daily Mirror: "All my bank needed was a fax to say it was their mistake and the money would have been stopped but they refused. They cleared out everything."

The airline said it "sincerely apologised" and refunded all of Jo's costs.

We wonder if she'll be travelling with hand luggage next time.
