The set was thought to be a present from a member of the Royal Household and was made up of bloomers, a night gown, a chemise, black silk stockings and a handkerchief.
They were all white linen and embroidered with the Royal monogram VR.
They were kept in a drawer since the 1960s and were in immaculate condition. Thank goodness they didn't get mothballs!
The collection went for an incredible £3,472 to an unknown buyer after they were auctioned by London company Bloomsbury.
Talk about a price fit for a queen!
