Lazing around in your pyjamas while you sip a cup of tea and not worrying about crumbs in the sheets for once - it's pure bliss.
So can you believe that half of us Brits have never been treated to - or in fact, treated themselves - to this simple luxury?!
I know, we're shocked too!
But a survey of 2,000 British adults has shown that fifty per cent of us has never had so much as a bowl of cereal in bed.
In an effort to change this sad state of affairs, home furnishings company Ikea, who carried out the poll, is launching an Ikea Breakfast in Bed café, where the tables are replaced by beds to recreate that "breakfast in bed" feeling.
Customers will get to choose their morning meal - and the company's comfiest pillows and beds to enjoy it in. That's definitely what you'd call comfort food!
Open between 7am and 3pm until the 20 May, the Shoreditch-based concept café will be serving everything toast, tea, fresh juice and an array of traditional Swedish treats.
Patrons can book a single or double bed between 7am and 12pm where they will be served by specially trained waiting staff and sleep specialists.
Myriam Ruffo, Head of Bedrooms and Bathrooms at IKEA, said: "There's nothing better than being in your own bed. You can enjoy sleep, cuddles and lazy days – but the piece de resistance has to be breakfast in bed.
"At IKEA, we believe that the delight of having breakfast in bed shouldn't just be reserved for those special occasions and should be something that makes everyday wonderful. To celebrate this firmly held belief in starting the day the right way, we are opening The IKEA Breakfast in Bed Café to showcase how we can make our beds and bedrooms an oasis of serenity from the outside world."
