When one Simpsons superfan started collecting mini Barts and Lisas 25 years ago, he probably had no idea that his collection would one day be worth a fortune.

But Glyn Culliford has just had his mammoth load of Simpsons merchandise valued at an incredible £100,000!

His obsession started back in 1990 when he brought his first T-shirt aged just 13 and since then, he's amassed over 2,000 items. His impressive haul fills two rooms and ranges from limited edition life-size figures of the family-favourite characters to a Simpsons' doughnut maker. We bet Homer would be jealous of that!

And, not content to stop there, Glyn went onto having the first ever Simpsons-themed civil partnership when he married Roy Culliford, 42, in June 2010.

Aerobics instructor Glyn, from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, was quoted in The Sun, saying: "My obsession has caused arguments but he understands I love the show."

Over the years, he has spent £47,000 but a recent valuation has priced his collection at more than double that.

D'oh! Why didn't we think of that?!
