Well, one is estimated to go for an incredible £17,000, after it featured on the iconic Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.
Although more than 60 waxworks and cardboard cut-outs were made by artists Peter Blake and Jann Haworth for the cover shoot in March 1967, this gnome had significant value as it was signed by the Beatles, for the photographer Michael Cooper's assistant.
Dean Harmeyer of Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas, said: "This is a true rarity. The gnome is in two parts created by Blake for the shoot and is an incredible Beatles artifact."
However excited Beatles fans may be, we can't help thinking £17,000 is a bit much for a piece of cardboard. Think of all the shoes and clothes you could buy!
