Coco the Rottweiler was diagnosed with bone cancer and the vet predicted she'd only survive just over a month.
So devoted owners, Symon Spencer and Theresa Clancy, are making sure that pet Coco enjoys the short time she has left by giving her a whole host of doggy fun.
The pair from Farnborough, Hampshire, are determined to give their beloved dog 22 treats to enjoy before she passes away.
Activities have included swimming in a pool, feasting on fish and chips on the beach and even munching on a steak supper in a restaurant.
And lucky Coco, eight, has even gone to work with both of her owners. The fluffy friend has taken a ride in a police car with Theresa, who works for Surrey Police, and sat in the front of a train thanks to Symon's job at First Great Western train company.
Symon was quoted on the Daily Mail discussing how he felt when they heard the sad news: "I was crying for most of the weekend after being told. Dogs are really clever and they pick up on your mood and adopt it, so she was feeling low too. I thought 'I need to snap out of this.'"
He added: "We came up with the bucket idea that weekend. We want to give Coco the best end of life possible."
Coco, who Symon has had since she was a little pup, has already ticked off the likes of riding in a convertible and eating a Big Mac from a drive through.
In fact, she has just two things left to tick off her list – eating sushi and casting a paw print.
Gushing about his pooch, Symon added: "She is a beautiful dog and has really enjoyed it all so far."
