One man is such a huge fan of Star Wars he's spent a whopping £100,000 on memorabilia!

Dave Oldbury, 46, has a colossal collection that boasts 3,000 items of items from the sci-fi film series - and almost 9,000 autographs from cast members.

Both the loft and garage in his Southampton home are stuffed with letters, books, action figures and signed photographs. We wonder what his wife says about that?!

The dad-of-two's obsession with the movies first started when he was at school. Since then, he's travelled the world to meet former cast members and has even spent a hefty £1,200 on getting his favourite characters tattooed onto his body.

Dave, who also runs a fan site dedicated to the movie franchise, reckons "there's nothing I haven't got".

He said: "I have made some of the nicest and best friends from ever single avenue of the Star Wars world.

"I reckon I've spent the best part of £80,000 to £1000,000 collecting all these items and probably £30,000 to £40,000 on getting people to sign autographs."

That is dedication!
