Captain Beany - formally known as Barry Kirk - changed his name by deed poll in 1991 to honour his favourite food.
In the past, he's admitted he's spent a whopping £10,000 on the food, and he's even transformed his flat into the Baked Bean Museum Of Excellence – a tribute to the bean.
And now, to mark his 60th birthday, the bloke decided to get sixty supersized baked beans etched onto his scalp.
The brave Welsh man completed the challenge for charity and each bean feature the initials of a person who donated £60 to the Marlie-Grace Appeal.
As a result, Captain Beany's raised a huge £3,6000 to help Marlie Grace Robert, a four-year-old who has cerebral palsy and needs an op to help her walk.
We think it's "cool beans" he's decided to use his obsession to help others!
