Many of us have tried our hand at online dating to try to find the perfect man. But one woman has taken her search for romance to another level.

Lynne Adams, 37, is so anxious to find love this Christmas that she's had her face and dating profile printed onto 1,000 takeaway coffee cups at her local cafe.

The owner of Glasgow's Cup coffee shop and Lynne's close friend, Paul Reynolds, agreed to help in her hunt by serving the cups to any eligible customers.

A stencil of Lynne's face was created for the frothy drinks to ensure that the single men can check Lynne out while they're having their hot drink.

Lynne was convinced to sign up to dating website match.com by her friends after her love life began to dwindle due to her hectic job as a finance worker and gruelling gym schedule.

But after four months of trawling through profiles, she'd still had no luck and when the opportunity of boosting her chances via this quirky technique came about, she couldn't refuse.

We're loving the words Paul has put on the mug too: "So, if you're full of beans and don't see the gym as too much of a grind, you and Lynne could be one another's perfect cuppa." Who could resist that?

Let's hope it won't be another lonely Christmas for this coffee-loving singleton!
