Dedicated vlogger Emily Clark is desperately in need of a lifesaving bone marrow transplant after learning that her cancer has returned for a second time.

And after spending her time blogging about Anthony Nolan and raising awareness of other families in need of a donor, she is now encouraging people to register to save her own life.

Emily, from Cwmbran, Wales, was first diagnosed with lymphoma on 20 December last year, when she noticed that her stomach had swollen and her jeans were tighter.

The 17-year-old said: "I'd never been to the GPs before. Being ill just didn't happen to me. It was right before Christmas, and was just so much to take in; I knew it was going to change my life."

After enduring four courses of chemotherapy, the teen was thankfully given the all-clear in April this year, which kick-started her own blog, Remission Possible.

After receiving such good news herself, she wanted to support other young people who were suffering from the disease and raise awareness of the importance of bone marrow donations.

"I set up Remission Possible to thank everyone who helped me to be in remission and as the blog's tagline says: 'Because you never chose the mission of cancer – we all have to accept it and fight on'. I wanted to help young people in their fight."

The selfless teen encouraged people to register with Anthony Nolan to see if they could help others looking for a match.

But devastatingly, on 13 November, Emily was told that her cancer had returned and the only way of beating it completely was with a bone marrow transplant. She needed a donor herself.

"I have no choice but to accept my new mission. This time we're bringing out all the weaponry, guns blazing to kick this cancer's ass, good and proper, and forever, not just for me, but for the 2,000 other people out there who need a transplant each year."

Celebrities like Matt Lucas and Michael Ball have supported Emily's campaign and so far, 278 people have successfully joined the bone marrow register site.

Emily's mum, Donna, said: "When Emily was diagnosed with cancer, our world changed in an instant. But I now feel empowered to make a difference by signing up as many people to the register as possible.

"I can't thank enough every person who has signed up to the register for Emily and others like her. Together we can help Emily make another mission possible to beat cancer again."

We've got everything crossed that Emily finds her match as soon as possible!
