We all love a sweet treat, but incredibly the survey, which was carried out by Bird's Eye, also revealed that many of us had convinced ourselves that eating Bounty bars, Turkish delight, chocolate and cornflakes counted towards our five-a-day – we wish!
And the likes of pasta, cottage cheese, liver and even croissants were also named as a supposed five-a-day food too.
So why aren't we eating fruit and veg anymore? Survey partakers claimed reasons including vegetables going rotten too quickly, too much effort is involved in preparing them and because they find them just plain boring.
One-in-four even claimed it's because they don't know how to cook the basic vegetables such as broccoli, carrots and cauliflower
Those who have actually been tucking into their greens haven't been doing too well either, with women having just 2.7 portions of vegetables-a-day and men an even fewer 2.4.
