Murray McKenzie picked his EuroMillions numbers using family birthdays two years ago - but he'd put his son Thomas' down as the 13th, when it is actually 12th!
Despite realising his blunder, the cabbie decided to stick with it - and it turned out to be the right thing to do when he scooped the huge lotto prize!
The 63-year-old was quoted in the Daily Mirror, saying: "It turns out I was right and it was lucky number 13."
Murray, who lives with wife Pat in Linton, Cambridgeshire, added: "Getting your children's birthdays wrong is a dad thing. I did have to apologise to Thomas but I think he's been able to forgive me."
We reckon we would too!
