Despite it only being August, the Government's DirectGov website already has over 100 jobs for future Father Christmases and elves.
Company Great Grottos Ltd placed the advert and dub themselves as "the UK leaders in Christmas grotto management".
The ad states they are looking for: "gentlemen with a jolly demeanor to play the part of Father Christmas. Assisted by a team of elves, you will be responsible for creating memorable visits by talking to children in one of our magical grottos."
They're even holding open days where potential Santas can head down and try on the big red costumes.
Fancy trying it out? All you need is a child safety check and to get along with kids. We reckon a nice round tummy and a white fluffy beard would help too!
But it turns out that it's not just companies gearing up early for Christmas - us Brits are preparing for the festive period too.
According to eBay, searches for Christmas items will increase by a whopping 150 per cent this month!
Steve Heywood, a spokesperson for the auction website, told the Daily Mirror: "Brits get Christmas fever earlier every year. Last August, there was almost three million Christmas searches on eBay."
Wow! Guess we better not buy that new bikini and save our pennies for pressies instead!
