Not for one girl though, who has failed it a staggering 110 times!
The anonymous 28-year-old from South East London has spent a whopping £3,410 trying to pass the first stage of getting her licence but has so far been unable to progress.
Although part of the exam is made up of multiple choice questions, it seems this unlucky learner has been unable to pick out the correct answers and has paid the £31 fee dozens of times.
But she is just the worst of a bad bunch - the Driving Standards Agency has also revealed a 30-year-old man has failed the test 86 times and a 45-year-old sat it 56 times.
Well, perhaps her 111th time is lucky and she'll soon be on the road to success...
