But she was even shocked to find that it been damaged by Aldi!
Janina Wasiuta, 29, had been unable to park in her usual spot last Friday due to maintenance works.
So instead, she left it in an alley by the supermarket in Chorley, Lancashire, yards from the beauty salon where she works.
But staff claimed that the vehicle had been obstructing a delivery lorry trying to use the private access road, so they took matters into their own hands, breaking into it to move it out of the way.
She was quoted in The Daily Mail saying: "It's unbelievable – I've basically had my car vandalised by a big supermarket chain.
"The store's attitude was disgusting – they didn't even put a note on my window, they just left the car in a bush.
"There were no double yellow lines or signs so I assumed it would be ok. I'm just so angry. "
Yesterday three plastic barriers had been put in place to stop people from parking on the access road.
An Aldi spokesperson said: "As a very last resort we had to move it.
"We have apologised to Miss Wasiuta and are covering all costs of the damage to her vehicle and all the associated expenses."
Police are investigating the incident as possible criminal damage.
