The future is looking "rosé" for a hotel in Evesham, where £20,000 of rare wines, champagnes and spirits were found in a cellar.

Hotel manager, David Field, 50, found the secret stash of booze, which includes bottles of the 1914 Hine Grande Champagne - worth £2,500 a pop!

After only joining the business 6 months ago, David said: "I'm not an expert, but I knew I was looking at something very special."

John Jenkinson, 65, owner of the Evesham Hotel in Worcestershire, has been collecting the rare tipples over the last 40 years but it is thought he had no idea of what they were actually worth.

The cache also includes bottles of brandy worth £3,000 each and exotic wines from the Far East containing actual snakes, lizards and rats.

An auction is being held to sell off some of the haul, the money from which will go towards the upkeep of the 500-year-old building.

Cheers, everyone!
