The beautiful bear was caught in a bushfire last year and her claws were burnt off, leaving her unable to climb.
Now known as Zanani, she has since been recovering at the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, New South Wales.
This widely recognised koala hospital, established in 1973, admits between 200 and 250 koalas annually.
The majority of koala bears tend to be admitted due to chlamydia (a different strain to the one that affects humans), motor vehicle accidents or dog attacks, so Zanani's case is really unusual.
The hospital will now help to teach orphaned Zanani how to climb again as part of the rehabilitation programme.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that one day she'll be well enough to return to the wild!
