We'd all like to live a life of luxury like the lads and lasses off The Only Way is Essex but one woman took it to the extreme when she stole £100,000 to fund her lavish lifestyle.

Louise Hitchin was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Liverpool Crown Court for stealing thousands of pounds earmarked for clients of a PPI claims firm.

The money was taken from Hardwick Financial Solutions, where the 27-year-old TOWIE wannabe worked for over two years as an Administration Manager.

Two months after her resignation in 2012, a customer querying where her PPI compensation had disappeared to contacted bosses. After further investigations, the company found that the money had been transferred into Hitchins' bank account along with a further 15 transfers totaling £93,250.

Hitchen spent £5,000 on a boob job, bought herself a sports car and the rest of the stolen money went on extravagant shopping sprees or in bars and restaurants.

She admitted two counts of fraud but only £23,000 of the stolen money has been returned after so much of it had been spent.

Detective Constable Mark Edwards told The Daily Star: "The cost to Hardwick Financial Solutions has been significant and included staff losing their jobs. But the only person Hitchen thought about while she had her hand in the till was herself."
