The man in question was tucking into a bowl of muesli with no hands on the wheel.
He was on his way to pick up his first pupil at 8:30am on May 6th in Cowley, Oxon, when he was stopped by PC Pilling who later tweeted: "Stopped a drvr eating a bowl of muesli @ 30mph, no hands on wheel, a driving instructor enroute to a lesson!"
Due to his unwise choice to concentrate on his breakfast rather than the road, he was fined £100 and received 3 points on his license.
A police spokesman told The Sun: "He was driving while not in full control of his vehicle."
In this case, it wasn't such a clever idea to have breakfast on the go!
