One bungling bank robber managed to reveal his identity after handing a petrified cashier a note that demanded cash.
But the silly man had actually written the message on the back of a job application form – to work at that very branch!
Felipe Cruz made a quick escape after getting the dosh, but police investigating the crime soon discovered the note, which contained his user name and password for the application at the Florida bank - as well as his fingerprints.
Cops turned up at his home to arrest the dozy man.
And a bit closer to home, another clueless crook was caught out after taking £1,500 from a pub – because his name was tattooed on the back of his head!
Kieran Kennedy, 39, was filmed sneaking out of the pub on CCTV. Staff watched back the footage and saw the jobless thief's tat, which read "Kieran".
The crook admitted to burglary at Derby magistrates and was put on probation for a year.
Prosecuter Harinder Johal said: "He had a clear distinctive tattoo which read 'Kieran'."
