While people usually have tattoos removed because they no longer like them, this man is having his old inkings removed just so he can get new ones!

The aptly named Body Art – yes, that is his actual name – is covered in so many tattoos that he's run out of space on his body to get anymore.

But the ink-obsessed man, who appeared on ITV's This Morning, is so determined to add new designs to his body, he has decided to spend a massive £6,000 on removing some of the etchings just to free up some space.

He believes that his body is a canvas that should be constantly evolving, which is why he's made this rather drastic decision.

Body Art got his first taste for tats at the age of 16, when he had his first one. He then continued to cover his body, spending over £25,000 on the artwork – including one on his eyeball!

The heavily tattooed bloke changed his name due to his love for ink and is now known as "Body Art" or "The King of Inkland".

That's what we call dedication!
