The five-story building in Folkestone, Kent, has had a 20ft stainless steel tube placed between the forth and fifth floor, taking workers down in a speedy three seconds. Cameras have even been put inside the slide to snap people as they whizz down to the forth floor.
A range of local firms work within the digital hub and owners believe that the slide helps to give the office a "Google" feel. James Avery, office manager of the complex, was quoted in the Daily Star discussing their unusual office addition:
"We are quite techy here and the slide really adds to that Google feel about the place. Everyone has a go when they come in but people have become accustomed to it now. No-one looks up, it's just the norm."
Some staff have even taken to using the slide as a way to transport items, by sending post and bags of sugar down.
Luckily, the building still has conventional stairs and a lift for those who don't fancy sliding down to the office.
