The 59-year-old is so taken with baked beans that he changed his name by deed poll to Captain Beany back in 1991.
But his passion for the food doesn't stop there, Beany fully embraces his name by painting himself orange and constantly wearing an orange-hued superhero outfit.
His obsession first begun in 1986 when he spent 100 hours in a bath of them for charity. Since then, he has even transformed his council flat into the Baked Bean Museum of Excellence - where everything inside is orange and commemorative to baked beans.
Captain Beany has also become a prominent figure over the years due to the vast amount of charity work he does. So far, he has raised £100,000 for a wide range of charities, such as Macmillan Cancer Support and Age Concern.
He has baked beans for dinner every night, meaning he gets through a mammoth 5kg every week!
Bean there, done that!
