Well, not all of them - but the big four, butter, cheese, eggs and yogurt, are much better for us than originally thought.
While we have all been swapping butter for margarine and cutting out cheeses, medical experts are now claiming this might not be the best for us.
Doctor Aseem Malhotra, interventional cardiology specialist registrar at Croydon University Hospital, London, said: "Almost four decades of advice to cut back on saturated fats has actually increased our cardiovascular risks."
The expert also claims that recent studies have failed to show a correlation between saturated fat intake and risk of cardiovascular disease. In fact, saturated fat was actually found to be protective.
So ladies, let the crumpet, see the butter!
