A Canadian designer has created a hat that is perfect for keeping your head – and your chin – warm!

The website boasts the Beardo is the only beanie that comes with a detachable beard in whatever shade you want – blond, brown or ginger.

You can even buy a moustache version too.

Thought up by Jeff Phillips, an enthusiastic snowboarder, he thought the Beardo would be the perfect way to keep warm while on the slopes.

But now the unusual knitwear has proved popular far beyond skiers and snowboarders and the original stock has sold out.

But Jeff promises there will be more in time for Christmas – so there's one of your stocking fillers sorted!
