Wanted: Someone dressed as an owl to watch me sleep!

As job ads go, it's pretty strange. A woman, known only as Susan, is offering £25 an hour for someone to dress as an owl and watch her sleep.

The insomniac from Melbourne, Australia, posted the weird request on a website, stressing: "It is not a joke."

She says she requires three staff in total to work nightshifts from 11pm to 6am to help her drop off.

If they do not want to wear the owl suit, the rate of pay will drop to £22 an hour.

Sleepy Susan adds: "I have always found great comfort in the idea that owls are the natural lookouts of our world."
